We used the baptismal that belongs to the church we rent from. It it a large rectangular thing on wheels. It it fiberglass on the inside and works pretty well. The baptiser doesn't hardly get wet at all.
It was really hot that day but the clouds came over the top of us and a breeze came through just in time. It was nice for the spectators but not for the wet people.
That's cool. It would be the answer for a lot of churches without a baptismal in their buildings or a creek/swimming pool handy. One local church in Alabama had enough crawl space under their church that they put their baptismal IN their platform and covered it with a false floor and put a railing around it to keep people off it. You could walk on it, but they didn't want kids on it. Can't hardly tell it's there.

What exactly were you guys using for the baptismal? Looked like a beautiful day for a baptism.
My question too. Is it on wheels and you roll it out of the building?
